A South Florida Skirmish

"The Battle For the 305". South Florida bragging rights are on the line whenever Miami and FIU meet up. The players, coaches, and fans all know each other. So when FIU Volleyball hosted the Canes in the just the second game of the year, it felt big. Miami brought a strong team into the Ocean Bank Convocation Center, and dominated the first two sets. The final set was far more competitive as FIU tried to make a comeback. Miami would eventually earn the sweep, but it made for a fun final bit for the Panther fans, and our broadcast too!
