The Best of Women's Hoops

On the Women's Basketball calendar, there was not a collection of talent better in the pre-conference slate than the Daytona Beach Invitational. Top 20 teams, conference Players of the Year, and bona fide royalty all took the floor on the beach to duke it out for early season bragging rights and quality wins. The end result for the viewers, as well as the broadcasters, was a sight to see. Dramatic finishes and unbelievable individual plays were almost commonplace as some of the best in the sport flashed in Daytona Beach.
