The FAU-FIU rivalry always means a lot. Doesn't matter the sport, location, or context. Both schools always want to win it. So when FAU came to Miami with the CUSA seeding already set, the stakes weren't high...on the surface. That didn't stop both teams from coming out and playing an extremely hard fought game, bragging rights on the line during FIU's Senior Day. Even with the two teams set to meet again in the postseason, in their second game of three straight, both squads put on a show. But for the FIU Panthers, it was a showcase.
